Meditation Meets Single Track
Both physical muscles and the mind need stretched and strengthened. By moving your body, you expand. By bringing awareness to thought, you expand. Do something that scares you everyday. Expand.
The below offerings are four-week bike clinics to grow mindfulness. Practice will begin with a guided meditation to bring awareness and explore the power of thought. Intentions will be set to overcome obstacles...both physical and emotional. Participants need no previous meditation experience to join. Specific lessons on the bike will be catered to each individual and group as a whole. We'll explore skills from basic foundations to advanced maneuvers.
Fridays. May 11-June 1, 2018. 9:30am to Noon
These rides are for intermediates looking to add skills on the bike. Lessons will include instruction on advanced braking and gearing techniques, front and rear wheel lifts, high speed cornering vs tight switchbacks, and technical terrain. Aubrey is sufficient at coaching all abilities, so able to introduce skills as individuals progresses in their own time.
Fridays. June 8-29, 2018. 9:30am to Noon
Practices will be an introduction and progression to jumping. This is for intermediate to advanced riders. Participants must be able to ride single track confidently as we’ll commute to different jump zones via trail.
